Implementation of Newborn Hearing Screening in Rizal, Philippines, and Northern California: Lessons Learned

Objective. The universal newborn hearing screening program has been implemented in the Philippines for past ten years. However, rates country are still low. current study aimed to describe (UNHSP) delivery system Rizal, Philippines, and Northern California. Methods. utilized a case research design using data triangulation of FGD, KII, document review characterize compare implementation Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program Rizal Province California. Results. Several differences were found protocols California, including centralization program, availability surveillance data, protocols, tracking system. Conclusion. There is an immense need disseminate among healthcare practitioners create monitor evaluate real-time data.
